A lovely old half-timbered pub in gorgeous countryside 8 miles southeast of Hereford and a few miles from Ledbury, Ross and Malvern. The M50, A449, A49 and A417 are all fairly close by.
Owner and veteran chef Stephen Bull took over the Butchers last year. We offer excellent pub cooking, using Goodrich Longhorn beef, Chepstow ducks, Kentchurch venison, fish from Cornish inshore boats, and fruit and veg from nearby farms and gardens.
The Butchers also offers local cask beers, ciders and perry, and a punchy wine list with 10 bottles by the glass and carafe. Open fires warm the low-ceilinged bars in winter, and there is a pretty garden with a stream.
We have a separate dining room seating 25, ideal for parties, small functions and business meetings, and where we hold regular food and wine evenings, for example, Tuscany and Catalonia.
The Butchers Arms has a Bib Gourmand in the 2010 Michelin Guide awarded for ‘good food at moderate prices’.
